In contrast to the traditional way of microbial ATP measurements not just a simple yes or no answer is given but an indication of the type of contaminating microorganism. Furthermore, even if no living microorganisms are present in a sample anymore but the sample contains increased amounts of free ATP you will receive a warning which enables you to take further actions. This feature is beneficial compared to all other rapid test methods and traditional plating method.
